Verizon Fios is quick!
Sunday, December 28th, 2008So today was the day, I ditched that old high speed internet technology, and upgraded to Verizon’s Fios fiber-optic internet and tv service. I must say, I am impressed. My computer is rather slow, but it’s not the ISP’s fault. I subscribed to the internet (20 mb/s DL/2 mb/s UL) and HD package, and I will be paying roughly the same as Time Warner, somewhere around $120. Expensive, but worth it. Here is my real time internet speed test results:
16.8 mb/s download, and 1.73 mb/s upload
